China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) is hiring a Rebar Detailer / Structural Engineer in Dubai. Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred for this full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review IFC structural drawings and identify reinforcement discrepancies or clashes.
• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and ACI Code.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, BIM engineers and site construction teams.
• Modify reinforcement drawings according to consultant comments and site requirements.
• Ensure reinforcement detailing complies with approved IFC drawings and construction methodology.
• Participate in coordination meetings with subcontractors and consultants.
• Maintain drawing revisions and ensure timely submission.
• Provide technical support during reinforcement fabrication and installation.
• Complete assigned shop drawings according to project schedule.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Shop-drawing experience on large-scale projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of ACI Code and rebar detailing standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD-RC / ASD.
• Familiar with BIM workflow and drawing coordination.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
