SD / Desktop Engineer (End User Support) – L1 (3 – 5 years) Job Location: Dubai • Handling of support calls and logging in service desk system first Level Support of all System / Hardware / Software /Applications • Respond to tickets/queries/emails within the SLA timelines. • Document issues/queries and enter solutions into a service desk ticketing system (Manage Engine / HPSM preferred). Prioritize, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution • Provisioning of User Accounts (Joiners and Leavers) • Good knowledge and experience on Windows Desktops & Servers installation and troubleshooting. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with end-points throughout the organization. (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, other peripherals) • Experience working with Active directory, user account creation, password -reset, Group Policies • Network troubleshooting that includes LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP & NETBIOS • Good knowledge on MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting. • Experience in configuring email clients and troubleshooting • Good knowledge on tools such as antivirus, browser, VPN software and remote tools • Perform PC and Laptop rollouts, analyze and implement solutions for desktop software application rollouts. • Maintain daily performance of the systems. • Troubleshoot and coordinate with hardware and software vendors for resolution • Maintain meeting room hardware for conference calls and video conferencing • End-user Software and hardware Provisioning Monitor and report on progress of resolution and log the resolution in Helpdesk Tool • Provide support for Operating System, Network connectivity, Office Software Install OS Patches, updates and upgrades through centralized tool • Install, move add, and change activities for Hardware and Software, regular updates of inventory database for both software and hardware • Troubleshoot and coordinate with hardware and software vendors for resolution. • Manage end user software licensing and assets.
