Manor Hall International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated AP Biology Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year!
You will teach high school students Biology following the U.S. curriculum, while creating a supportive, dynamic, and inspiring learning environment. As the teacher, you’ll be the primary point of contact for your students’ science learning, collaborating with parents and staff to support each student’s academic, experimental, and critical thinking development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging AP Biology lessons aligned with the U.S. curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and hands-on experiments to enhance learning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing observation, experimentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate science concepts across the curriculum.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and achievements.
- Participate in school activities and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Education (Science specialization).
- Teaching certification or Educational Diploma.
- Experience teaching AP Biology at the high school level (U.S. curriculum experience is a plus).
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and passion for supporting students’ scientific learning.
