Location: UAE

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in electrical design and local authority standards across the UAE. You will handle complex calculations, power distribution design, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design calculations including load estimation, voltage drop, short-circuit, and cable sizing.
• Design LV distribution systems, MDBs, SMDBs, and emergency power systems.
• Design ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, structured cabling, and BMS integration.
• Independently prepare and review design calculations, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes and standards including ADM, DEWA, SEWA, IEC, BS, NFPA, and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
• Coordinate designs across mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of electrical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Proficient in design software and electrical calculations.
• PMP, ETAP, LEED AP, or Data Centre design experience are advantageous.
