Al Jazeera International Catering is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead and manage all culinary operations across our industrial catering projects in Abu Dhabi.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing food production, menu planning, recipe standardization, quality assurance, food cost control, and kitchen operations while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Develop standardized recipes and production procedures, optimize kitchen productivity, monitor food quality and presentation, and drive continuous culinary improvement across multiple sites.
• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, QHSE, and Stores to ensure efficient production planning, food hygiene, safety, inventory utilization, and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for mentoring kitchen teams, developing culinary talent, introducing innovative menu concepts, and maintaining consistency across all catering operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Production, or a related discipline.
• Professional culinary certifications and HACCP/Food Safety certifications are an added advantage.
• 8+ years of progressive culinary experience, including at least 3 years as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef within large-scale industrial catering, remote camp, oil & gas, military, healthcare, or institutional catering environments.
• Proven experience managing high-volume food production (5,000+ meals per day), menu engineering, food cost management, and multinational cuisine.
