We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to support the preparation of accurate cost estimates for marine projects, including vessel construction, maintenance, and repairs. If you have experience in marine engineering or project cost estimation, this opportunity in the UAE could be your next career move.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project resources.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Project teams to obtain accurate project information.
• Assist the Senior Estimator in identifying cost risks, scope changes, and potential overruns.
• Update estimates based on changes in project scope, design, materials, and requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, calculations, and revisions.
• Ensure safety requirements and relevant industry standards are considered during estimation.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of marine project specifications and cost estimation.
• Knowledge of IMO and ISO standards is an advantage.
• Certifications in cost estimation, project management, marine estimating, or marine operations are preferred.
