📍 Location: UAE

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in the construction, contracting, or real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, project costing, financial reporting, budget monitoring, tax compliance, and supporting the overall financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Manage project costing by tracking direct and indirect costs for each construction project.
Monitor project budgets, analyze cost variances, and recommend corrective actions to control expenditures.
Process client progress billings, supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and other financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Generate cash flow statements, profitability reports, and project cost analyses.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide the required documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, contracting, or real estate industry.
Sound knowledge of project costing, project-based accounting, revenue recognition, contract accounting, and supplier agreements.
Experience with VAT, Corporate Tax, and UAE accounting regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Tally, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.
