Falcon Survey Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled Bathymetric Surveyor to join our Survey & Geomatics team in the UAE. If you have a passion for marine surveying and advanced geomatics technologies, this full-time role offers competitive compensation and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct bathymetric and hydrographic surveys for marine, coastal, dredging and infrastructure projects.
  • Operate and manage RTK GNSS, Total Station, Single/Multibeam Echo Sounder and related hydrographic equipment.
  • Perform vessel positioning, sounding acquisition and survey data collection.
  • Process and quality-check bathymetric data and prepare survey deliverables.
  • Prepare bathymetric charts, contours, profiles, cross-sections and survey reports.
  • Carry out survey calculations, coordinate transformations and tidal/water-level corrections.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients and marine contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, survey standards and HSE requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Hydrography, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant bathymetric/hydrographic survey experience.
  • Hands-on experience with GNSS/RTK, Echo Sounders and hydrographic positioning systems.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HYPACK, QGIS/ArcGIS, Qimera or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of survey calculations, coordinate systems, datum and quality control.
  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
  • UAE driving licence is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on marine/offshore and project sites.
