Sama American Private School in Sharjah is looking for an experienced Career Guidance Counsellor to guide and support students in making informed academic and career decisions and to help them achieve their future goals for the academic year 2026/2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and university guidance to students based on their interests, strengths, and future goals.
• Advise students and families on university pathways, admissions requirements, applications, and deadlines.
• Organize university fairs, career days, workshops, and university visits.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide reports on university applications and outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, leadership, and parents to support students’ academic and career growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or English Language.
• Previous experience teaching in a U.S. school or with the CCSS curriculum.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to student growth and development in a nurturing environment.
