IT Support Engineer – Vexus Group
IT Support Engineer with Extensive Troubleshooting Experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer with vast knowledge in troubleshooting to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist users with operating system issues, application errors, and network connectivity problems.
System Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and patch management.
Monitor system performance and perform necessary optimizations to ensure efficient operation.
Maintain and update documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Network Support:
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure network security compliance.
Support VPN and remote access solutions for offsite employees.
User Training and Support:
Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for IT usage and security.
Create and update user manuals and technical documentation.
Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees.
Asset Management:
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software resources.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement and warranty services.
Project Participation:
Assist in IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with enterprise environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Experience with network troubleshooting and basic configuration.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) is a plus.
UAE Driving license is mandatory.
