Key Responsibilities

  • Operate conventional/manual lathe machines for machining operations
  • Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and other machining tasks
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and machine settings
  • Measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
  • Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain workshop cleanliness

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathe machines
  • Strong knowledge of conventional lathe machine operations
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers
  • Good knowledge of machining tools and workshop safety
  • Ability to work independently and meet production targets
