We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Buyer / Specialist – Laboratory Consumables Procurement to join our growing team at Rafed, based in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for procurement professionals who possess a strong understanding of laboratory consumables, diagnostics, and healthcare supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for laboratory consumables and diagnostics portfolios.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies.
• Develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Drive value creation initiatives and deliver measurable savings across procurement categories.
• Collaborate closely with laboratory teams, clinicians, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply and product standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial management of laboratory consumables within healthcare organizations.
• Strong technical and clinical understanding of laboratory products and testing workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
