Nexa Engineering Consulting LLC is looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee major real estate development projects across the UAE. If you are qualified for resident engineer jobs in UAE, this site-based full-time opportunity offers a chance to manage key construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site supervision and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and HSE compliance
- Review and approve materials, shop drawings, and method statements
- Manage RFIs, site instructions, NCRs, variations, and claims
- Oversee FIDIC-based contracts and contract compliance
- Coordinate with the Employer, contractors, and internal teams
- Supervise testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out
- Follow up on defects and contractor performance during the DLP
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years of relevant UAE/GCC experience in real estate projects
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE regulations
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
- PMP certification is preferred
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, contract management, and stakeholder coordination skills
