Zener Fire & Security LLC is looking for a skilled Design & Estimation Engineer (Fire Alarm Systems) to join their dynamic team in Dubai, UAE.

Job Responsibilities

• Design LV electrical systems, including fire alarm, voice evacuation, emergency lighting, VESDA, and gas detection as per NFPA & UAE Fire Code.
• Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, riser & wiring diagrams for fire alarm systems.
• Perform VESDA calculations, Battery & NAC calculations, Electrical Load calculations, Cable schedule, prepare design documentations and assess the electrical infrastructure to support fire alarm equipment.
• Attend technical meetings with clients, provide technical clarifications and respond to comments.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Review and prepare as-built documentation for fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, site and other engineers to ensure timely and accurate system designs.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
• 3-4 years of experience in the Design of Fire alarm systems for substations and industrial projects.
• Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Knowledge of PLC systems, communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, Ethernet, fire alarm components, circuits and systems.
